Wynyard Hall Bar

This magnificent Hall, built originally from the wealth gained from the local mining industry, is now a prominent hotel and venue.

The bar was designed and built to match the original doors in the background of this image - doors of 4" thick mahogany, and made so tall so that the original owners could ride through the hall on horseback! Burr mahogany panels were created with black enamelled carvings and columns to look like part of the original furniture of the house.
