The kitchen in this converted Yorkshire mill building needed to be designed around the existing tall supporting columns. Use of mirror finish stainless steel brings in light and a contrast to the sleek dark walnut boarded doors.
There are frameless glass doors to the upper cabinetry and a feature stainless steel and walnut plate store houses a full dinner set. Carefully placed LED lighting reflects off the feature stainless steel stripes, plinths and handles.
Glazed walnut doors throughout the apartment tie in with the kitchen, as does the open shelving to the hallway which can be seen through the open door.
Curves rather than corners help the elements blend in the low level circular cupboard
with chopping block top, and in the table with conical pedestal and glass top.
