Walnut doors with horizontal grain flow, where as some of the solid others are glazed, other variations to this modern style include trimming the face of the doors in hide, most of the doors work on slide mechanisms.
These doors are hand crafted from Oak
This extra wide frameless glass pivot dooris used as a dramatic entrance from a kitchen to the bar, the idea of the etched horizontal lines to the clear glass door is reversed to obscure glass with clear lines on the frameless glass door to the walk in larder, black glass furniture frames the main door from the bar back into the kitchen.
The main entrance to this Arts and Crafts mansion is made of Oak and including the window above is over 6m tall, the interior doors are veneered from Fiddleback Sycamore in a quartered up marquetry style.
Herrington Gate made all of the doors to this project including the exterior gates, whilst most of the interior doors were made from Wenge others were trimmed with leather, door styles include extra wide doors to the Yoga space, all exterior gates were made from European oak.
All doors (and some mullioned windows) to this new build farmhouse were made from English oak, styles include a Tudor main front door with an ecclectic mix on internal doors including arched and square topped doors, architectural screens were also used to maintain an open plan feel to the house between some of the rooms.
These Walnut Panelled doors were made for this new build home to work as a contrast to the full height wall panelling, the collection of doors included a feature curved door built into a curved wall which leads to a wine cellar.
A grand veneered wall, almost 11 feet in height, housing both the main front entrance door (the external face of which is in Wenge) and a concealed door to the upper ground floor WC.
