White Calacatta marble floors connect the spaces throughout the downstairs of this large family home. Traditional painted panelling adds character to the hallway with doors in heavily panelled Walnut. A more contemporary console table made from silvered Italian Ash makes a strong style statement.
Across the hallway we see the full span of the curved walnut door, constructed to mark the entrance to the client’s underground wine cellar.
A smaller version of the hallway’s large silvered ash console table stands sentry at the double doors to our client’s traditional study.
An elegant bespoke marble staircase with wrought iron balustrades takes you up to the first floor from a panelled hallway which was inspired by Coco Chanel.
