At Herrington Gate, we have no system of furniture ranges or price lists and there is no limit to the materials and influences we work with and the kind of projects we get involved in.
With almost 20 years in the business of creating high quality bespoke interiors, our commissions have come from a range of quarters: the streets of Whitehall, a Spanish island hillside, a contemporary mansion in our native North East of England to name just a few. Each property is unique and each client has a different goal, but whether someone is seeking to furnish a traditional listed residence or a state-of-the-art new build from scratch, we believe our knowledge and design versatility are second to none.
From your first phone call to us, you will appreciate our very personal and professional service. We accept commissions from clients directly or via architects or builders and can liaise with all necessary parties where relevant. Some of our clients wish to maintain complete confidentiality and this is always respected.
At an initial consultation we can discuss ideas and format a working brief. We submit layout suggestions, design schemes and liaise with other suppliers for complementary furnishing if necessary. Once designs are approved, detailed technical drawings are made and we construct the furniture in our own workshops and our skilled carpenters will fit furniture into place, working where necessary around other trades.
We manage the project closely with minimal inconvenience to the client, right through to completion when the rooms we have created are ready for use and really come to life.....!
