Contemporary lines in the context of this complete rural home redesign. Very definite criteria from our client were to allow for 10 dining guests, with bar, cooking and dishwashing facilities on hand for easy entertaining. Wenge was the chosen material for the cabinetry.
To conceal the functional side of the room, HG Design Solutions developed a wall of grey leather trimmed doors within a wenge framework with bespoke wenge handles. Centrally, sliding doors disappear into recessed pockets built within the cabinetry to allow diner’s access to the Garden Room. To either side, bifold doors push back into the cabinetry to reveal a bar with Sub Zero fridge, and kitchen facilities with mirror finish stainless steel work surfaces.
As necessary, the doors fold closed to conceal any mess and carefully positioned lighting washes down over the grey hide trim of the doors.
